Rain
Well, it finally stopped raining here sometime during the night. Today has been beautiful...lots of sunshine outside. However, it rained all day yesterday and part of the day before. There's been quite a bit of flooding in the area, and our backyard looks like a little lake. According to weather.com, our area got somewhere between 5 and 5 1/2 inches of rain yesterday. Wow; that's a lot of water....

Our backyard lake is gone, but our storm cellar is completely flooded. (The water covers all of the steps; when I opened the door, I saw yucky-looking water.) I don't know how long it will take for the cellar to dry out....
