I think we've found a house. We put in a bid, and it was accepted. Now we're working on money stuff and all that stuff that has to be done before you can buy a house (inspections, etc.). Jimmy took some video of the house as we were were walking through, so I thought I would share it here:

Though the house is technically 'move in ready,' we are planning to do some work on the house. We're planning on redoing some of the floors, repainting some of the walls (particularly the bright blue ones), taking down the deer wallpaper, removing the second kitchen, and taking all the stars off the ceiling in the spare bedroom. I'm sure we'll be doing other things as well, but those seemed like good places to start....

Wow!! A house! Maybe I'll come down to visit once the blue walls have been repainted and the ceiling stars are gone. But I can't believe that you're getting rid of the hunting mural and the 2nd kitchen. They both seem very important to me. ;-)
Congratulations! I hope that the rest of the buying process goes smoothly.
The hunting mural's actually pretty cool, but it's not quite what I had in mind for the wall of my office.
We thought about using the second kitchen for a bar, but it looks a little dated and it doesn't have a sink.
Hope all the inspections and details come together well.
Have fun with the changes. LT
