Nothing too exciting here. Simply the reflections of an 'academented' graduate student. ('Academented'--great word, isn't it! It's not my own though, I think I read it somewhere.) Read, reflect, and share your thoughts....

Your garden sounds delicious! Beware the mint. It takes over like a weed once it gets started. I throw it away in large trash bags full from a small flower bed on the West side of the house.
What did you name the rosebush?
I planted all of the herbs from seed, so who knows if they'll even come up; if they don't, I might go out and buy some plants....
The rosebush has been named Bud.
The rake's name is Blake. The first hoe was named Joe, but he broke and had to be returned; now we have Poe. The shovel's name is Wade. (I couldn't come up with anything that rhymes with 'shovel,' but 'Wade' rhymes with 'spade.')
I guess we know who inherited the green thumb in the family. It sure wasn't me. (However, maybe we should wait for results before we decide.)
