I finished planting my garden yesterday. (And I didn't plant any okra.) Everything seems to be doing well so far; things are starting to come up nicely. However, the weeds are coming up too, and the birds are eating the leaves off of my zucchini plants. I bought a bird feeder and put it in the opposite corner of the yard, but I don't know if that will do anything or not.

No Okra
I finished planting my garden yesterday. (And I didn't plant any okra.) Everything seems to be doing well so far; things are starting to come up nicely. (Okra Soup is something Jen always hated.....my grandma makes it by the gallon full during the summer) LT
Don't you like okra? Yummmmm! Does it work to put one of those twirly things in your garden to keep the birds away? They're supposed to keep SOMETHING away.
I wouldn't plant okra either. You might as well put all that effort and water into something pretty or edible!
You could make a scarecrow for the birds. I don't know if they work, but it would be decorative.
